RYE In/Outbound;Giving Back Night at Akron Haven of Rest & YMCA

The Akron Rotary Club is hosting a night of giving back to the community.  The students will get dropped off in Downtown Akron at The Haven of Rest at 5:00pm.  

From 5:00pm to 5:45pm we will take a guided tour of the Haven of Rest and learn all that they do with men,
women, children, donations and food, etc.  From 6:00 pm to approximately 8:15 pm we will serve dinner to the homeless people at The Haven of Rest (the serving will consist of setting up tables, serving the food
onto plates, and cleaning up).  All helpers will receive dinner.  

Once we finish cleaning up at we will walk down the street as a group to The University Park YMCA where we will have an overnight.  We will have snacks, share our experience at The Haven of Rest, play games, tour the YMCA and see
what kind of activities they do to help their community and help out with any events going on that night,  There will be separate sleeping quarters for the males and females.

The following morning we will have breakfast. Families can pick-up Students between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM at
