How to Prepare for Your Year As President-Elect
We have tools in the Learning Center (you will be required to login at Rotary.org for access).
These are intended to familiarize you with the leadership role and to help you in the coming year.
Find the Club Leadership column, select View Club Leadership Courses. I am suggesting that you then review these two modules:
Club President Basics
Club President Intermediate
We will also have a session on these in the upcoming Pre-PETS (Presidents Elect Training Seminar).
We will have six sessions (each will be one hour) between September and January designed to prepare you for the All Ohio P.E.TS. in March.
The Zoom topics are listed below along with the time and dates.
You will receive a Zoom connection email shortly before the class is held.

This five-District regional event, will be held at the Renaissance Hotel in downtown Columbus for Presidents Elect.
It serves all the Rotary Clubs in Ohio — more than 250 clubs. This fantastic event is an opportunity to discuss your goals and aspirations with other Presidents-Elect from across Ohio.
The 2025 AOP theme reflects the new Rotary Action Plan of Impact-Reach-Engage-Adapt and focuses on facilitated discussion, enabling you to share practical applications and ideas.
I want to emphasize that are not lectures – the entire program is designed so you can JOIN LEADERS – EXCHANGE IDEAS – TAKE ACTION.
By completing the basic and intermediate learning plans in the Learning Center, you will be well prepared to engage in these discussions and come away inspired and ready to lead.
Yours in Rotary Service,
Bob Oborn
