2026 250 Trees for 250 Years

As part of our initiative to plant 250 trees in celebration of our country's 250th anniversary of independence, we are launching a friendly competition to see which Rotary club commits to planting the most trees in 2026! Your club's commitment is non-binding. Our goal is simply to celebrate the clubs that are planning to plant trees and recognize them once their projects are completed. We currently have four District Arborists ready to assist any club by: • Recommending the best tree species for your planting location. • Helping source trees through local nurseries, where discounts may be available. • Advising on tree guards to protect young trees from deer and other wildlife. • Providing guidance on proper tree planting and long-term care.
